Rutu is a seasoned Senior Spa Professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in improving business processes, increasing revenue, creating guest experiences, pre- opening, on-going operations set-up, technical skill-set training and developing future spa leaders.

She has worked with luxury international brands like Hyatt International, Hilton Hotels, city, resort and destination spas across Asia, South East & West Asia and Central Asia.

Experience & Leadership

Rutu is a dynamic and natural leader who enjoys developing high performance and award-winning teams in multiple locations across India and internationally. She has spearheaded and managed different spa projects, including the spa, wellness, recreation and salon.

Her latest achievement is the opening of The Camellias Wellness Spa & Salon -DLF Gurgaon, a 16,000 sq. feet oasis of a tranquil experience.
She has designed the concept of Herbarium that promotes a holistic approach to one’s wellbeing, the set-ups and the service menu and provided hands-on training for indigenous and western treatments.

In her previous assignment at the iconic hotel Grand Hyatt Dubai, she opened and accomplished a spectacular 300,000- sq. feet award-winning
Ahasees Spa and Club.

After earning her bachelor’s degree, Rutu moved to the spa and hospitality. She worked her way through various areas within the spa and hotel industry and advanced her professional career with spa and wellness qualifications, including Leadership Development and Finance Management.

Rutu has combined this business acumen with her hands-on passion for spa and wellness, which makes her uniquely qualified to understand her client’s challenges and bring forth creative and meaningful solutions.

Interests & Passion

Rutu’s passion for the Spa and Wellness industry led her to attain diverse professional education certifications in traditional therapies like Ayurveda, Thai, Balinese, and western treatments like Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Foot Reflexology, and Diploma in Advanced Aesthetics for skin and bodycare. She also traveled across India to learn Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki. She continues to gain more educational credits the latest being Health Wellness Coaching.

She has experience working with exclusive luxury spa product lines and advanced non-invasive body and skincare.

Rutu enjoys a great sense of humor, infact laughing is her favorite sport that gives her a healthy physical and emotional workout that she finds very contagious. She enjoys music, reading, photography, outdoor sports, and savors her time-out with her family and friends.
